The weather forecast was just right, so I thought it would be fun to have an artist meet up .

I did not give much advance notice, but was joined by Carolyn Boatman, Mollie Beusterien, Barb Clarke, Sabrina and Sherry Dockery, Sue Gorman, Donna Huber, Russell and Mary Hughes, Kathy Johnson, and Joni Powers .

We all showed up at different times, scattered around town and them met up for lunch.

I missed a great photo opportunity while we were having a picnic beside the river...I was too busy enjoying the good company and Barb's fresh baked blueberry lemon bars.



the day was too good to spend inside, so after the paint out, I joined Joni for a visit to one of my FAVORITE organic farms, Sunflower Sundries






where we enjoyed the farm, and took home some fresh eggs, Jam and cornmeal.



Speaking of Sunflower Sundries. I can't help but share this last photo I took the day before the paint out when I met Jim and Jennifer for a canoe trip down Johnson Creek.

The light on the river, and in the leaves of the trees were great!
