Oh) Thats easy! (to start with, you don't HAVE to do it at the first place) Its just some way for people around deviant to see each other. Like I tagged you - so I added your icon to my journal and some pepole who didn't see your wonderful art would notice it on my page, click and... here is your gallery open for them!))) It is also a great possibility to say all kinds of silly things. For example in this tagg you have to say 8 random facts about yourself. Whichever you like! And then you in your turn tagg some 8 people you think are worth visiting and add their icons in your journal. They'll tagg someone else and here we go! Its like a virus when you come to think of that.... But a possitive one.
Many people don't "play" this because really it is just for fun and for sharing your likes and your art with the larger number of people. So if you feel like it - see my journal for the rules.. If you don't feel like it - don't worry)
